Welcome to Greymouth! Our area is renowned for its natural beauty so take some time out to enjoy our many scenic walks and natural attractions and don't forget to take in the Pancake rocks at Punakaiki, one of nature’s natural wonders. The West Coast area is rife with old gold tailings and many other historical sites that are well worth exploring, eg the Brunner coalmine site where 65 miners lost their lives in a mine explosion on the 26th March 1896.

Whether you are a new resident in the Grey District or already living in our beautiful region, the information on the following pages may be of interest to you. This directory is aimed at providing a guide for everybody with contacts to local clubs and organisations in Greymouth and the Grey district.
