There is LOTS of cool stuff to do at the Grey District Library. Come on in and use our free computers, take out some books, borrow a DVD, play some games or just hang out. You can also look for information you need for your homework or other projects.
If you need help with anything, just ask a librarian and they'll be happy to help you.
We've listed some of the things that the Grey District Library offers below.
Research using the Online Encyclopaedia
Search the online version of Encyclopaedia Britannica - including Britannica Library for Kids. Includes current events, pictures, fun quizzes, and links to relevant Internet resources. Access Encyclopaedia Britannica here.
Any questions is an online service provided by public librarians throughout New Zealand. Kids and teenagers link up with the librarians via the internet and get real-time help to find information and to do homework or school work. How helpful would that be! Access Any Questions here.
Free computers to use
The Grey District Library has computers that you can use free of charge. You can even contact us to book a time in advance!
