Note: This is not an exhaustive list.

Our playgrounds and sportsfields are where our children play, socialise and compete, and where they can learn the value of health and fitness. Research shows that the more children and young people are exposed to people smoking, the more likely they are to think of smoking as a 'normal activity'. Thinking that "everyone else is doing it' increases the likelihood that children and young people will become smokers themselves.

We encourage people to keep our parks, sportsgrounds and playgrounds smokefree.
