Council can issue a temporary parking permit that allows use of a carpark for longer periods than it is designated for. For example, for building renovations or special events.
To apply, please complete the form below. You can email this to planning@greydc.govt.nz or bring it into our offices. Alternatively, you can come into our offices to fill in a form.
Once your request has been approved, you will be given an authorised copy of the form to display in the dashboard of your vehicle - this notifies the Parking Wardens that you have received permission from Council and avoids you receiving a ticket.
Please note: the application must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
