Landfill Fees Assistance

Council provides financial assistance to community organisations for the disposal of refuse and non-recyclables at McLeans Pit Landfill. Funding rounds take place on an annual basis around June/July each year and the following organisations/groups are invited to apply:
- Churches/church organisations
- Welfare organisations/groups
- Sporting bodies/clubs/organisations
- Community organisations
In considering applications, Council takes note of those organisations which are reducing their landfill waste by actively recycling and/or reusing material.
