Our Collection
History House Museum has a specialised collection of primarily pre-1920 records of the West Coast, including photos and archives recording social comment, living conditions etc.
The photographic collection covers Greymouth, gold mining, coal mining, timber milling, shipping, living conditions, social history etc.
While the Museum building in Gresson Street is closed, some research resources and facilities are available from the Grey District Library at 18 Albert Street, Greymouth. The resources available at the Library are mostly family history material.
