Road closure - Town Square

Update: The road has been reopened for vehicle access.

The Tainui Shared Street/Town Square will be closed to traffic until further notice.

The staging area within the town square will also be fenced off while it is assessed by a structural engineer.

This structure is showing some signs of stress, so we are putting these precautions in place to ensure everyone's safety.
