CONTRACT NO: GDC 2025-26-01
Grey District Council is publishing an advance notice on behalf of Grey District Council and Westland District Council for the joint procurement of waste minimisation & management services.
Council would like to notify potential tenderers of this upcoming opportunity and ask questions which may feed into the contract development.
The intent is to establish one contractor to provide waste services across both districts with an aim to ensure consistency and efficiency of service. We anticipate services will be delivered under two contracts, one for each Council.
The full details of the contracts are anticipated to be eight years commencing 01 July 2025 and ending on 30 June 2033. There will be an opportunity for a two year extension at this time.
The opportunity to influence the shape of the contract closes Friday 17 May 2024 at 12:00 noon.
