Public toilet facilities at Mitchell’s are due to be completed in the next couple of weeks as the project, funded through the Tourism Infrastructure Fund, comes to fruition.
In addition to the flash new loos, the project has also tackled some big issues around traffic and sight lines with the road being widened and a number of new carparks added for those using the facilities and boat parks for lake users.
When finished, the toilets will be fully landscaped, and we’ll pop some signage up with information about the local area. And of course, there’ll be bike stands for those using the new Lake Brunner Scenic Trail.
Local contractors Tru-Line Civil – Paul Auton and his team have done the hard graft. It was a tight timeline and sub-contractor Josh Wilkins did an awesome job.
