Opening hours for Council services and facilities on Thursday 6 February 2025

Council offices: Closed

Greymouth Library: Closed

Westland Recreation Centre: Open from 9am to 5pm
(The Coast to Coast registrations will take place on Waitangi Day, Thursday, 6 February, at Westland Recreation Centre. To support this event, the facility will be open from 9am to 5pm, however, the carparks will be closed to the public during this time)

Greymouth Port: A port staff member will be on call for urgent enquiries please call 03 768 5666 if you require support.

Refuse Facilities and Kerbside Collection

McLean’s Pit Landfill & Recycling Centre: Closed

Moana, Nelson Creek & Blackball Resource Centres: Closed

Refuse & Recycling Collections: These will be collected as normal.

Refuse and recycling bins need to be out by 7am to ensure collection.
