August 2024 rates invoices delayed

An issue setting the rates for 2024/2025 has delayed the first instalment invoices being sent. Invoices will be mailed to ratepayers from 26 August 2024, with the first instalment due on 20 September 2024.

Penalties will be applied as usual five working days after the due date.

The Grey District sits between the Westland and Buller Districts and encompasses Camerons in the south up to (but excluding) Punakaiki in the north and inland to (but excluding) Jacksons. The main town in the Grey District is Greymouth.
