​​Devi​ce Advice​
​Tuesdays, 10.30am to 11.30am (during term time)

​Trouble with your smartphone, tablet, phablet, laptop, notebook, or other device? Then why not try Device Advice at the Library, a free weekly service offering help and advice for your digital problems.

No appointment necessary, just drop by.

Justices of the Peace​Tuesdays, 1pm to 3pm

​​The West Coast Justices of the Peace will run a service desk in the West Coast Room of the Library for members of the public who need their services.​

Baby Rock and Rhyme​Tuesdays, 11.30am to 11.50am (during term time)

​Baby Rock and Rhyme is a way for parents and carers to interact with their babies through songs, rhymes, and stories. It's a great opportunity to have fun, socialise, and spend quality time with your wee tot.​​

Reading with Waldo​Wednesdays, 3pm to 4pm

Waldo is our special and award-winning(!) canine friend and he loves to listen to children read. He doesn't interrupt, he doesn't criticise, and he doesn't judge.

Re​ading to animals is a great and proven way to improve reading levels and confidence as well as acclimatise young children to dogs.

So, if you are around or would like to give it try, come on in and re
ad a story to Waldo. He and Katie, from Two Brown Dogs and a Cat, look forward to meeting you.

Please note that Waldo will return to the Library October 14.

Storytime​​Thursdays, 11am to 11.30am (during term time)

A relaxed and fun session of songs, rhymes, and stories for pre-schoolers. All welcome.

​Reading Away Fines​​​​Tuesday, 5 January to Saturday, 30 January ​

​​Library fines? No problem, read them away this summer! Earn ‘fine-credits’ of $1 per 15 minutes or $5 for an hour. And, if you read to someone else, we’ll remove the same amount of fines for both of you!​

Braided Rivers - Bird Making​
​Thursday, 7 January, 10am to 12.00pm​

​Colour in and laminate a bird template to help decorate our braided river display and learn all about them in the process. You can make one for home too!​ Bird templates will be available to colour throughout the holiday period.​

Come and listen to internationally renowned storyteller, Andy Wright, perform some amazingly entertaining and super fun stories (approx. 45mins). Afterwards, catch up and celebrate with your fellow Summer Reading Challenge entrants and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. All welcome!​
