Temporary Pool Closure - Annual Maintenance

Currently, the pool area is closed for maintenance, this includes the hydroslides, hot tub and sauna.

We took full advantage of the lockdown period to carry out our annual maintenance, as well as some other planned remedial works. Construction was allowed to resume under Level 3 so we moved full steam ahead on two big projects in the pool area – additional roof bracing and poolside flooring replacement. The roof bracing is the final stage of the roof beam replacement project, which was carried out a couple of years ago. The poolside flooring is now past its useful life and due for replacement. It has lifted in parts and regular users would have noticed the increasing number of mats on the floor to cover damaged areas. It made sense to do these projects now, as there was uncertainty about when pools would be allowed to reopen so we opted to proceed under Level 3, rather than potentially reopening then having to close again.

The pool will reopen to the public when these works are complete and in accordance with relevant alert levels guidelines. We will post updates and photos on our website as the projects are carried out. This is going to make our poolside look fabulous and we can’t wait to show off the completed product to our community
