West Coast Wilderness Trail Review

2021-04-12T08:48:00 Pacific/Auckland

The West Coast Wilderness Trail was reviewed late last week by Council employees Aza O'Neill and Harman Sidhu as well as Wilderness Trail Manager Jackie Gurden.

The trio cycled the Grey District portion of the trail from the Taramakau Road-Rail Bridge to the Railway Station in Greymouth. The purpose of the review was to look at any maintenance that needed attention, such as over-hanging vegetation, the overall condition of the trail and ensure signage is correct and not missing or faded.
