Speed Limit Restriction - Crooked River No. 2 Bridge, Lake Brunner Rd

Grey District Council advises motorists that a 30kmp vehicle speed limit restriction has been put in place over what is known as the Crooked River No. 2 Bridge, Lake Brunner Rd.

Council have identified that the structure is showing some signs of load stress and as a precautionary measure have placed the limit. This is to ensure motorists' safety and enable Structural Engineers an opportunity to undertake a full assessment of the structure.

This limit will be in place until the engineering assessment has been undertaken and considered.

Council request all motorists to please respect the reduced speed signage and to be courteous to staff undertaking this important work.
