Welcome to your virtual library without walls - a collection of services free for Grey District Library members!
To enjoy these services you will need:
- An internet connected computer, smart phone or wireless enabled device.
- Your Grey District Library membership card and a pin number (obtainable from the Grey District Library).
- In some cases, free software for your computer or mobile device, available from the provider's website.

Downloadable fiction and non-fiction eBooks and eAudiobooks for adults, young adults and children.
BorrowBox makes it easy to select and download eBooks and eAudiobooks to your computer or any compatible mobile device. BorrowBox has a wide selection of New Zealand and Australian titles as well as works from international authors.
Users can download up to 5 eBooks and 5 eAudiobooks at a time with a loan period of 21 days. Users can return items early and can renew them twice (if there are no holds).

South Island Downloadable Zone - OverDrive
Powered by the OverDrive platform the South Island Downloadable Zone lets you select and download eBooks and eAudiobooks to your computer or mobile device.
There are hundreds of titles available, including fiction and non-fiction and ranging from children's books to young adult and adult.
Users can download up to 5 eBooks or 5 eAudiobooks at a time with a loan period of 7, 14, or 21 days. Users can return many items early.
