Runanga Water Update – Conserve Water Notice Still in Place

We’re still asking all Runanga residents to please conserve water as the notice issued on 4 February remains in effect.
We’re currently losing 200–300 cubic metres of water per day. While the water supply is coping we want to maintain a stable and reliable supply for everyone, so we need to continue playing it safe.
We’re buying our own leak detection gear to help us track down leaks more efficiently. In the meantime:
If you spot a leak, please report it to Council on 03 769 8600
Check your own property for any leaky pipes or taps and repair them if needed. Council is not responsible for repairing private property water pipes, so we appreciate your help in keeping your household's plumbing in good shape.
