Study Rooms & Meeting Rooms

The Library offers three Study Rooms, two Meeting Rooms, and a Creative Space available for hire. These versatile spaces can accommodate a wide range of group sizes and activities, making them ideal for both community and commercial use.

Special rates are available for community groups. Community groups may also be eligible for free meeting room hours when hosting free, open-to-all sessions that welcome participation from the wider community. You do not need to be part of an organisation to bring people together. Whether you're keen to start a chess group, run a craft session, share a hobby, or simply create opportunities for people to connect, we'd love to hear from you.

All rooms are available for hire during Library opening hours.

Please note that charges may apply for late cancellations, booking changes, or loss or damage of equipment.

Study Rooms

Need a quiet space to study, meet, or work together? The Library's three Study Rooms each accommodate up to four people and provide a comfortable, dedicated space for small groups.

All rooms include tables, chairs, and free Wi-Fi, with a TV available on request. Study Rooms can be booked during Library opening hours.

Meeting Room 1 (larger option)

This room can accommodate up to 40 people, making it ideal for larger meetings, workshops, training sessions, and community events.

The room is equipped with tables, chairs, and free Wi-Fi. A TV and whiteboard are also available on request to support presentations and group activities.

A kitchenette with basic tea and coffee-making facilities is available for use. Please bring your own tea, coffee, tea towels, and tissues.

Meeting Room 2 (smaller option)

This room can accommodate up to 20 people.
The rooms include chairs, tables, Wifi. A TV and whiteboard are available on request.

Combined Meeting Room 1 & 2

Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 can be combined to create a larger space suitable for up to 60 people seated at tables, or up to 100 people in a conference-style layout.

Both rooms are equipped with TVs; however, the screens cannot be linked or display the same presentation simultaneously. For this reason, we do not recommend relying on both TVs for a single presentation or event.

Creative Space

The Creative Space can accommodate up to 20 people and provides a flexible environment for workshops, classes, and community activities.

Featuring a sink and washable flooring, the space is particularly well suited to arts, crafts, and other hands-on activities.

If you are interested in running a free, open-to-all community class or activity, please get in touch. We welcome enquiries about the potential for complimentary use of this space for initiatives that benefit the wider community.
