Study Rooms and Meeting Rooms

Please note, Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 will be unavailable from 27 October 2026 to 7 November 2026.

The Library has three Study Rooms, two Meeting Rooms, and one Creative Space available for hire.
These rooms can accommodate a variety of group sizes and needs.

They are available for community and commercial bookings.
Special rates are available to community groups. To qualify for free hours for meeting rooms, community groups need to be holding free sessions available to everyone (open door). You do not need to be part of an organisation to host open-to-all sessions for the community. Do you want to meet with others to play chess? Contact us. Would you like to do crafts and make new friends? Contact us.

All rooms are available for hire during Library opening hours.

Charges may apply for late cancellation, date changes, or loss of equipment.

How to make a booking?

Study Rooms

The Library is equipped with three Study Rooms.
The rooms can accommodate up to 4 people.
The rooms include chairs, tables, Wifi and a TV is available on request.

Meeting Room 2 (smaller option)

This room can accommodate up to 20 people.
The rooms include chairs, tables, Wifi. A TV and whiteboard are available on request.

Meeting Room 1 (larger option)

This room can accommodate up to 40 people.
The rooms include chairs, tables, Wifi. A TV and whiteboard are available on request.

A kitchenette with basic tea and coffee making facilities is available (please BYO coffee, tea, tea towels and tissues).

Combined Meeting Room 1 & 2

Meeting room 1 & 2 can be combined to accommodate up to 60 people (seated with tables, up to 100 conference style).

While both rooms have TVs, they do not communicate with each others so we do not recommend to use them simultaneously.

Creative Space

The Creative Space can accommodate up to 20 people.
The Space includes a sink and washable floor which makes it suitable to host craft classes.
Do not hesitate to contact us about potential free use of this room for open to all classes.
