CONSERVE WATER | GREATER GREYMOUTH WATER SUPPLY | 26 JUNE 2025
Consumers on the Greater Greymouth Water Supply are advised that Council has issued a conserve water notice following a treatment plant shutdown early Thursday morning. As a result of this shutdown, treated storage reservoir levels are low and the conserve water notice has been issued to allow the replenishment of the storage levels in the reservoirs. Consumers may experience low water pressure during this period.
This affects consumers in the Greymouth, Cobden, Blaketown, Boddytown, Karoro, South Beach, Paroa, Kaiata, Dobson, Taylorville, Stillwater, Runanga, Dunollie, Coal Creek & Rapahoe areas.
We will monitor the situation and Council will update residents via our website and Facebook pages as the situation develops.
If residents require any further information, they should feel free to contact Council on Phone 769 8600 at any time.
We apologise for the inconvenience and will provide an update as soon as we can.
