Update 4:15pm: Water is expected to be restored by 5:15 pm

Update 3:05pm: This shutdown has been extended. We are unsure of how long at this stage. We'll update as soon as we get more details.

There is an unplanned water shutdown in Greymouth today, Monday, 6 October 2025.

This is affecting properties on Freyberg Terrace through to Blackmore Street, including Spring Street, Cook Terrace, Russell Terrace and Rochfort Street.

Water is expected to be restored by 3:30pm.
