Easter Operating Hours
With the long weekend coming up, there will be some changes to our operating hours. Please find them listed below:
Council offices:
- Friday 18th April – Closed
- Monday 21st April – Closed
Westland Recreation Centre:
- Friday 18th April – Closed
- Saturday 19th April – Open 7:00am to 7:00pm
Hydroslides operating from 11:00am to 4:30pm - Sunday 20th April – Open 7:00am to 7:00pm
Hydroslides operating from 11:00am to 4:30pm - Monday 21st April – Closed

Grey District Library:
- Friday 18th April – Closed
- Saturday 19th April – Closed

Greymouth Port: A port staff member will be on call. Please phone 03 768 5666 if you require support.
Refuse & Recycling Collection Changes:
Good Friday,18 April, collection will be undertaken on Saturday, 19 April.
*All other days will be collected as normal*
Please place your refuse and recycling bins out by 7:00am to ensure collection.***
McLean’s Pit Landfill & Recycling Centre:
- Friday 18th April – Closed
- Monday 21st April – Closed
Resource Centres:
The Moana Resource Centre will be open on Easter Monday from 1pm – 4pm. All other days of operation remain the same.
Blackball & Nelson Creek Resource Centres will be open as normal.
