Council Offices will be closed on Monday, 27th October.
Library
The Grey District Library's opening hours will remain the same on Saturday and Sunday. It will be closed on Monday.
Swimming Pool and Gym
All services at the Westland Recreation Centre will be open from 10am to 5pm.
There will be a BodyPump group fitness class, with Paulette and Haidee, on Monday, 27 October at 10:30am (Limited spaces so get in quick)
The hydroslides will be operating from 11am to 3pm.
Refuse and Recycling:
- McLean’s Pit Landfill & Recycling Centre will be closed on Monday, 27 October 2025.
- Moana Resource Centre will be closed on Monday, 27 October 2025.
Refuse and recycling will be collected as normal on Monday. Place your bins out by 7am to ensure collection
Road Closures:
There will be road closures in downtown Greymouth for the Labour Weekend Market & Band on Saturday, 25 October, and for the Greymouth Motorcycle Street Races on Sunday, 26 October.
