Agfest 2026
Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Grey District Council, for the purpose of the Agfest event, proposes to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:
Streets:
- Aerodrome Road - From Merrick Street
- Merrick Street - Preston Road to Reid Street
- Preston Road - From Corner of Preston/Raleigh Street to Merrick Street
- Reid Street - From Corner of Reid/Blake to Merrick Street
Time: 6.30am to 6.30pm
Date: 15th,16th and 17th October 2026
Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 5pm Tuesday 29 September 2026 at the office of the Grey District Council, 105 Tainui Street (PO Box 382), Greymouth.
