PROPOSALS TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Matariki Event
Pursuant to the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, notice is hereby given that the Grey District Council, for the purpose of the Matariki event, proposes to close the following streets to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder:

Streets: Tainui Street, from Mackay Street to Guinness Street

Time: 12pm to 6pm

Date: Friday, 10 July 2026

Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing before 5pm Monday 29 June 2026 at the office of the Grey District Council, 105 Tainui Street (PO Box 382), Greymouth.
