The Te Tai o Poutini Plan (TTPP) is the combined District Plan for the Buller, Grey and Westland District Councils.
The Te Tai o Poutini Plan (TTPP) will affect every person on the West Coast as it covers important things like power and communications infrastructure networks, ensuring there is sufficient land for business and housing development, avoiding or mitigating natural hazards, maintaining indigenous biological diversity, and controlling noise and subdivision.
The Te Tai o Poutini Plan Decisions Version Notified
The Te Tai o Poutini Decisions Version (Decision Plan) was publicly notified on 10 October 2025. This notification formally marked the start of the Appeals period which ran from 10 October 2025 until 5pm on 8 December 2025. An opportunity to join any appeals lodged as a s274 party was then available from 9 December 2025 until 19 January 2026.

The e-Plan is the legal version of the Decisions Plan, although hard copies are available at Council Offices, libraries and Poutini Ngāi Tahu.
