2026 Competitions

General details

The competitions are now closed.

In 2026, there are two competitions:

• an open-themed competition
• a harbour-themed competition.

For each competition, the same age categories apply:

• 8 years and under
• 9 to 13 years
• 14 to 17 years
• 18 years and over.

Open-themed Competition

• Poems can be written about anything.
• Poems must fit on two A4 pages maximum (single-sided).
• One illustration can be included per entry.
• Entrants must live in the Grey District.
• Any entries written with the help of AI will be rejected.
• Entries must not have been submitted to any previous competition.
