Friends and family gathered in Council Chambers on 27 September 2024 to celebrate each recipient as they were presented with an award by Mayor Tania Gibson for their outstanding services to the community.

2021 AWARD - 1 October 2021
Kaye Power was presented with a Civic Award today at the first of two ceremonies planned for the 2021 Civic Awards, split this year because of COVID Level 2 restrictions. Kaye was nominated for an award for her years of dedication and support to community organisations including Plunket, 30 years+; West Coast Netball 25 years and West Coast Federation of Women’s Institute 20 years. Unfortunately, Kaye was unable to attend but the Award was accepted on behalf by her two daughters, Natasha and Larissa.
2020 AWARDS
