Resource Centre Changes Coming 1 July 2026

Important changes are coming to the Moana, Blackball and Nelson Creek Resource Centres from Wednesday, 1 July 2026.

To help improve waste management and resource recovery across the district, updated acceptance criteria will apply to materials dropped off at these sites. Some items may no longer be accepted at your local Resource Centre and may need to be taken to the McLeans Pit Landfill and Recycling Centre instead.

Please take a moment to review the information below before your next visit to ensure you know what can and cannot be accepted. Thank you for helping us reduce waste and improve recycling outcomes across the Grey District.
