No, only car, 4WD, and truck tyres are accepted (please contact your local tyre suppliers or Tyrewise directly)

How do I get the rims removed?
Contact your local tyre supplier for advice
Do you accept shredded tyres? wire sticking out, etc
This depends on the condition of the tyre. Contact our Solid Waste Office for review and arrangements if applicable.
Can I take 5 tyres to McLeans Pit Landfill day after day?
No, if you have a large stockpile, you will need to make arrangements with Tyrewise directly.
If you have a small stockpile, you can contact the Solid Waste Officer for arrangements.

Can I drop off my free tyres at the Resource Centres?
No, all tyres need to be dropped off at the Tyrewise registered site, McLeans Pit Landfill.
(Under the new contract with Smart Environmental, the acceptance criteria for all Resource Centres have been reduced and no longer includes tyres)
